Hey Darel,
been trying for a while to save my system settings and files but use it again on another system like a virutual machine.
I tried using the VMWARE but cant get to clone my system. Do i need a plugin or another software to clone the first system.

Hey, You might want to check out
http://www.vmware.com/products/converter/

When you convert it, you can then boot it up in VMware Workstation, VMware GSX Server, VMware Player, VMware Server, VMware ESX (Managed by VMware VirtualCenter 2.x).

Hello Sheik, would you mind not using explicit language here.
If you would like to rant, not a problem. Just provide an educational argument, not the lack of it.

Hey,
I asked a while back about not being able to create the actie directory for server 2003. I was getting the error of network components missing.
The probem was that he NIC was not active which was not allowing me to create the DHCP and DNS server. One way to fix this is by pluggin in a patch cable to a switch, if network is not yet installed, and the other end to the NIC. It now becomes active.

Hey Lu, you can try installing the Microsoft Loopback adapter and install ad from there.

You can add it from Add new Hardware applet.

yet you still visit the blog. If you have personal problem with me, contact me concerning whatever it maybe. But don’t embarrass yourself by showing you have no dignity what so ever. Which ever level it be may be, give respect and get respect. But you my friend cannot be considered a respected human being. With this I say good luck to you and what ever organization you are involved with. Since the employees project the company’s reputation. I recommend you restructure you priorities.
End of Discussion

Hi Guys,

I’ve got a poblem that has been ongoing for several months,
One of my clients runs Small Business Server 2003 R2 and just after a voilent power outage, MS Exchange OWA doesnt seem to work.
when i got to https://servername/exchange i am able to get the OWA Logon screen, after entering the necessary credentials i am recieving
HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable, the sharepoint intranet site, and WSUS sites are working so i know IIS is not totaly messed up.
I followed several tips online to try resolving this issue, i do think that it maybe related to exchange application pool in IIS..
I am out of ideas ….please help!!
